The relationship between settler colonialist law and Indigenous people in Canada, including the legal, constitutional and legislative framework shaping the relationship between the Crown and Indigenous people, Indigenous rights and claims, Indigenous identities, treaties and self-determination, among others.
Prerequisite(s): 1.0 credit in LAWS at the 2000 level.
Lectures three hours a week.
