
ARCH 5332 [0.5 credit] Contemporary Theories in Architecture
Survey of cultural theories from the beginning of colonialism to this day. Considerations of how technological, socio-political, material, and ecological transformations inform architectural discourse. Students acquire research skills, considering topics such as race, gender, disability, environmental justice, Indigenous worldviews, climate, decolonisation, or artificial intelligence.
Precludes additional credit for ARCH 5020.
