Engineering Practicum Preparation

Mandatory course for the Engineering Practice Co-operative Education option. Introduces students to the co-op terms, job search, application, and interview processes while preparing students for the transition from university to a professional work environment. Graded SAT/UNSAT.
Prerequisite(s): successful completion of at least one academic term; successful completion of 1.5 credits, including either ECMP 5000 or ECMP 5001; minimum grade of B+ in EGEN courses(s) and A- in ECMP course(s); minimum CGPA of 9.00; full-time registration in each academic term prior to a work term; be eligible to work in Canada (for off-campus work terms); have minimum one academic term remaining after the work term(s) - minimum 0.5 credit course.

Co-operative Education Work Term

Students must be enrolled in this course during their work term(s). A written report from the student and an assessment from the employer will be required. Graded SAT/UNS.
